Accelerating A Different School of Thought
Greenwood began as a bold idea that learning should be deeply personal, human, and intentional. Our community transformed that initial vision into a vibrant reality. We designed our school as a centre for character development, embedding meaningful connections directly into our educational approach. This environment ensures our students are deeply understood and known, matching academic growth with personal integrity.
A strong foundation exists to support what comes next in Greenwood’s story. As we look ahead, the world needs our student-centered approach more than ever. Our current mission is to secure our personalized environment for the long term, making sure that future generations of Greenwood students are always seen, known, and championed.
To achieve this, we invite you to participate in our Annual Appeal. Your contribution makes a direct impact in critical areas for Greenwood.
Together, we can ensure that the care and intentionality defining our school continue to shape the leaders of tomorrow. Thank you for being a vital part of our community.
We acknowledge with gratitude the Ancestral lands upon which our main campus is situated. These lands are the Ancestral territories of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Anishinabek and the Wendake. The shared responsibility of this land is honoured in the Dish with One Spoon Treaty and we strive to care for the land, the waters, and all creatures in the spirit of peace. We are responsible for respecting and supporting the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. When away from this campus we vow to be respectful to the land by protecting and honouring it. We will create relationships with the people and the land we may visit by understanding the territories we enter and the nations who inhabit them.
