Compensation & Terms
The Apprentice Teacher position is a one-year fellowship commencing in September 2026 and concluding in June 2027. The salary range for the role is $62,500–$64,825 and includes enrollment in the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. No additional benefits are offered. All Apprentice Teachers will be part of .

Key Responsibilities
Facilitate student learning in one of the areas listed above under the guidance of an experienced teacher
Support and extend learners in and out of the classroom
Collaborate with peers in the delivery of curricular and co-curricular programming
Provide on-call coverage for teachers absent from class
Supervise co-curricular programming (athletics, arts, service learning, outdoor education, clubs)
Perform student supervision duties
Qualifications and Skills
Graduating or recently graduated from a B.Ed. program with two teaching qualifications at the intermediate or senior level
Experience coach in athletics, the arts, and outdoor education are strong assets
A student-centered, technology-enabled approach to learning with a belief that all students can grow
